My first Mother's day gift from Reese

Friday, May 7, 2010- This morning I dropped Reese off at daycare and to my surprise she made me my "first Mother's Day gift". It brought me to tears. I love being a mother and I'm so happy to have such a beautiful baby girl with such an amazing personality. I cherish every moment I have with her and love being her mother.



Sometimes you get discouraged
Because I am so small
And always leave my fingerprints
On furniture and walls

But every day I’m growing
I’ll be grown up someday
And all these tiny handprints
Will surely fade away

So here’s a final handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how my fingers looked
When I was very small
